If you really knew me...

I watched the first episode of MTV's If You Really Knew Me on my lunch break last week and I was crying like crazy at my desk and it was so embarassing because I didn't want people at my workplace to ask my why I was crying and I didn't want to have to explain that I was watching MTV and "the show made me cry". I think I was crying because I saw people on screen crying, not necessarily because the stories were touching (which they were). The show made me realize how grateful I am to have had such an awesome high school experience and that I'm glad I grew up in a medium sized town in Canada as opposed to a small town in the States.
